With the recent announcement thatParasite Eve: The 3rd Birthdayis going to be a PSP exclusive and not a mobile phone game (thank God!) I am now genuinely excited for it. In Spring of 2009, Sony Bend will releaseResistance: Retribution, an original third-person shooter for the PlayStation Portable. I’ve been looking forward to seeing Cooper Collectionsince its announcement at E3. Sony released this trailer and a group of screenshots for Tokyo Game Show and, well, it looks likeSly Cooper.That’s not a complaint. What I am really hoping for is that the collection looks great in 3D. I don’t particularly care for the technology and have very little interest in playing games with it. But if any games are going to be fantastic while using the visual effect, I’d like it to be this batch simply because they’re already so good....

Now this is one satisfying opening segment. I was only mildly interested in this game (another shooter yawn), but now, if everything turns out to be as memorable and just plain cool as this intro, The Darknessis one game I will definitely have to buy.I wasn’t sure exactly how much of this was actual gameplay (I am guessing control starts once the main character gets in the front seat), but I loved watching every second....
