Apparently, Sony Computer Entertainment of America has reacted with a bemused “WTF?” to David Reeves of Sony Europe’s assertion that the 60GB PS3 is being liquidated,chalking it up to misinterpretation. A rep for Sony of America, talking to Next-Gen.biz, said: “As announced this week, SCEA’s product offering in North America consists of a 80GB PS3 available in August at $599 and a 60GB PS3 available now for $499. We will have ample supplies of both models to meet the needs of our consumers for the foreseeable future....

I love Destructoid’s readers for checking on me after Japan’s earthquakes yesterday and this morning. Some of the kindest messages I’ve ever seen clog my inboxes, and I’m still reading them all, but I appreciate the triple digit counts of concern in all of them....

For all I know, Marvel impresario Stan Lee could be a nasty, crotchety old bastard. But based on everything I’ve seen, I don’t know if there’s a man who could be more excited and happy about his life. Who can blame him? If there was a casual games company worth owning stock in, it would definitely be PopCap. They’re massive. They beat $100 million in revenues and sold 10 million iPhone games.
