As someone who strongly disliked the originalDead Rising— partially because I was “doing it wrong” at first, which is still all kinds of messed up — I recommend anyone who had a similar reaction get a co-op partner and give the sequel a shot. Some of the bigger annoyances were fixed, and having a second player only further eases the pain of stuff like boss fights. Plus, the sheer absurdity of having two separate Chuck Greene characters running around is always a delight....
