Strategy games and the Nintendo DS are a match made in heaven. Why we don’t see more of this type of game on the insanely popular handheld is beyond me. So when THQ announcedWarhammer 40,000: Squad Commandfor the DS and PSP earlier today, I was happy to say the least. So it’s great to finally see this game in action. I’m sorry, did I say great? Actually, I meant to say f*ckinggorgeous! The level of detail on everything looks amazing. Not to mention that everything is super shiny! I’ll be looking forward to this game when it comes out....

A demo for High Moon Studios’Transformers: War for Cybertronwas launched this morning, giving everybody a taste of the robotic shooter. Check it out and see whyI’m so pleased about the game. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did — partly because I love it when people like the games I recommend, but mostly because I’m going to need to some multiplayer backup and I’ll be counting on Dtoiders to give it!...

I was already borderline terrified of M. Bison thanks to some sketchy fan art that Google Image Search felt like showing me unprovoked; the devilish grin on this sculpt isn’t calming my fears....
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3has hit the iOS today, published by Electronic Arts of all folks. Available on the App Store now for $6.99, the game’s listing mentions that it will feature “13 klassic warriors including Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Sonya Blade.” If that’s to be believed (and why not?), it means this isn’t quite as “ultimate” as the originalUltimate Mortal Kombat 3, which featured more than 13 fighters. The good news is that the game was apparently designed to take advantage of the high-resolution Retina displays, so folks with iPhone 4s will be able to enjoy it in all of its glory....
