PDP sent over a press release yesterday announcingTron: EvolutionandEpic Mickeycontrollers it was making, and we basically ignored it. Because, you know, “LOL, controllers,” right? Today’s slow news day forced my hand into giving them a closer look and… words are failing me right now. TheTronones for Xbox 360, Wii, and PlayStation 3 are cool I guess; they glow and are allTron-y. But the paintbrush Wii Nunchuk is the most outrageous, mind-bending peripheral I’ve seen since those“Freaks” controllers Game Elementsreleased for the original Xbox and PlayStation 2....

What’s this? Could this be a PSOne re-release of the classic game? We’re not sure. The ESRB wasn’t clear enough in their details, which gives the title an M rating, but no summary.Siliconeranotes that they did not list the PSP as the platform, as they’d usually do with a PSOne Classics release. Maybe this is some kind of reworking of the superior PS2 or Dreamcast release of the game. I doubt it....
