‘Going Rogue,’ judging from this press release, sounds promising. The new content takes place on an alternate (but mirroring) dimension named Praetoria. Apparently, a jerkoff emperor has plunged the realm war and it’s up to you to choose sides. Or switch them. Here’s a quick interview/hands-on with Tecmo on their upcoming Wii titleSPRay. The game looks and plays likeZelda,but with some unique elements that give it aBoogermantwist. Disgusting fluids flow like wine in this title. Vomit reveals secret walkways, snot can be stuck to walls to form footholds, and “anti-matter” (euphemism for poop?) is used for some devastating attacks. To counterbalance all that weirdness,SPRayfeatures manyZeldagameplay mainstays. Dungeon crawling, sword play, item collection, and boss fights are all present, only with less hookshot and more vomit....

Yesterday, we were given a behind-curtains demonstration of Platinum Games’ incredibly sexyBayonettain action. My initial first impressions were very positive indeed, but after hearing that the game was playable on the showfloor, I had to get my hands on Bayonetta’s curves and take her out for a test drive. It took three Sega reps to roll my tongue back into my mouth. Bayonettahas been on my radar for over a year now, and I can see that the anticipation has been more than justified....

I’ll be honest: I was scared when I saw the video example of how the Kinect sensor might with withForza Motorsport 4at E3 last year during Microsoft’s press conference. I didn’t like the idea of a top racing franchise opening up to hands-in-the-air bus driver style casual driving games. Forza is fancy and I want to keep it that way. Turn 10 did Kinect implementation right. Yes, they did work in a silly hands-in-the-air driving mode, but they did a few other really cool things to balance it out....

Tonight at a press conference THQ and Adidas revealed a new interactive athletic training program for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 calledmiCoach. The title brings together training programs developed for sports like basketball, soccer, football, tennis and running with sports stars from each sport. Dwight Howard, Kaka, Tyson Gay, Jessica Ennis, Ana Ivanovic and Eric Berry have all signed on to appear in the fitness title as trainers. miCoachlets players choose their fitness goals and then takes over to coach them through every step....

EA Phenomic’s mixture of real-time strategy with trading cards,BattleForge, has received a sizable price reduction to the tune of $20 off. The title can now be found at North American retails for $29.99, with additional funds going to the developers by way of purchasable in-game booster packs. I’ve always been curious to see how well microtransactions can work as a main revenue stream, specifically for free-to-play games such asBattlefield Heroes, but no one has ever really divulged any solid numbers to my knowledge....
