I love my job, but I do have to say that videogame trailers start to blur into each other some days. By the end of the week, it takes something pretty special to stick out among the video monotony. Luckily Sega is wanting to promote an already crazy game with an even crazier promotional video. If you ask me,Samba de Amigodoes not need a sales pitch. I want it already. You probably do, too....
So on my merry adventures at E3, I ran into a few interesting people, but the strikingly rad girl in the Zero Samus suit stood out quite a bit. Seems like Samus is saving the world in video games and in real life. The girl in the suit is Michelle Perl ofSOSGamers.org. S.O.S. I’m really tired right now, as an event scheduled far earlier than my usual sleep schedule accommodates forced me to eschew the comforts of my bed last night. This means that my already limited capacity for wit, charm and continence is pretty much stretched to its limit. The sequel to the weird Sega Dreamcast fish-talking evolution gameSeamanhas sold 33,000 copies in its debut week, edging out Nintendo’s not-a-game reading titleDS Bungaku Zenshuuby 1,000 units. InSeaman 2, you’re raising/conversing with a prehistoric man rather than a fish-man, and things are roughly twice as insane as last time....

I realize that’s a very small demographic, but nevertheless I’m pretty interested inTrinity: Souls of Zill O’ll, so sod the rest of you. These screens show off big boobs, androgynous men, and that interested watercolor effect that have made the graphics so appealing. As far as the game goes, I got toplay a bit of it at E3and it was good enough to make me cautiously optimistic about the game’s chances....

A few months back we came across aPlayStation emulator for the iPhone. It was a pretty nifty proof of concept, but as an actual gaming solution it looked to be pretty weak. There are too many buttons on the PlayStation controller to emulate on the iPhone’s touchscreen, and the games put too much strain on the unit’s processor. Recent video of a Super Nintendo emulator looks to be much more promising....
