Dissidia: Final Fantasyis one of my most eagerly anticipated titles of all systems, let alone the PSP. The game’sofficial Web sitehas updated with story, character and info sections all live — this is of great use if you speak moonspeak. If you don’t speak Japanese, however, you’re able to at least gawp at the amazing artwork, and some of thetantalizing screen shots collected on NeoGAF. Square-Enix really knows how to get the best of the PSP and is pulling together something that looks absolutely sublime....

Mismanaged, plagued by shovelware, and outcompeted by XBLA and PSN, the Wii’s online store limps forward delivering a game or two a week to the Nintendo faithful. Once in a blue moon something compelling will land on the service, only to go largely ignored and underappreciated by an audience that either doesn’t know it’s there or simply doesn’t care....

“Moral choice” is a term thrown around a lot by developers these days, promising a game that will give you dilemmas, make you think, and introduce shades of grey. Let’s face it, most of them fail and boil down to extreme black-and-white moralities that represent gameplay, not moral, choices.Dragon Age: Originslead designer Mike Laidlaw believesDragon Ageis as close as you can get, with an “aggressively” moral grey area. “We’re trying to be a lot more grey than that, aggressively,” he tells Destructoid....

Koei Tecmo is still the master of milk, as it plans to squeeze extra mileage from its property with the announcement ofDynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends. The big news — at least if you’re a fan of romanticized Chinese history — is that pre-Wei supergenius Guo Jia is a new character. Two other characters will join him, although they are yet to be revealed. It’s likely Guo Jia was added due to fan demand (he won a Koei Facebook poll), so maybe the long-requested Cheng Pu will make an appearance?...

Yesterday, during Sony’s press conference, they mentioned a whole host of new content joining the PlayStation Network. Now, knowing me, I’m taking a moment to highlight some of the content that isnear and dear to my heart. Amongst the wide number of logos that Sony threw up on the screen were ADV’s The Anime Network, Viz Media, and Starz’s Manga Entertainment. They’ll be joining FUNimation and others on the PSN with some great titles....

This past Monday, Electronic Arts held a little press event in San Francisco they called “EA Spring Break.” Cute name, we gotta give ’em that. Unfortunately, no one from Destructoid was in attendance, becauseour invitation must have gotten lost in the mail.Our friends at GameTrailers were on hand, and came back with a pretty solid and detailed interview with Valve’s Doug Lombardi about their forthcoming Xbox 360 and PC first-person shooter,Left 4 Dead....

He’s back! The guy whoacted his face offto some of the worst voice acting in videogames has another video for our entertainment. Overall, the audio clips this time around aren’t quite as hilariously awful, but that’s not to say he didn’t get a good number of laughs out of me. Looks as if many of them were pushed by the users, so if this becomes an ongoing series, I’m sure suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

Sengoku Basara 3— known in the West now asSengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes— isn’t content to releaseover 100 screenshotsat Captivate. Here’s another bunch of them, even though I’m the only one who really gives two craps about the game. These screens focus mainly on the character Kotaro Fuma, who is apparently able to see despite the obvious handicap of a helmet that covers both his eyes. Clearly possessing some kind of Geordi La Forge power, he’s not bothered by the fact he can’t see....

The 3DS is going to launch with five augmented reality games preloaded, but we only knew what one was, with the remaining four taunting us. The rest were going to be surprise until a leaker ruined it all. I don’t even want the 3DS now. A source toldWiredwhat the other four games are: Fishing, Graffiti, AR Shot, Mii Pics and Star Pics. Today’s free App was kindly suggested by DJ Link and it’s a nice one. Boasting a cool art style, some pretty music, and laid back puzzling gameplay,Vizatiis well worth checking out. It was meant to be free for Thanksgiving but they haven’t whacked the price tag back on yet, so nab it while you can. It’s probably worth paying for if you’re a puzzle nut, but at free you can’t quibble....
