A new piece of downloadable content for BioWare’s fantasy action RPGDragon Age: Origins, dubbed “Darkspawn Chronicles,” is slated for release on May 18th at 400 Microsoft Points. This is according to Microsoft’s latest Xbox LIVE Newsbeat, which also outed the release dates and prices of several Arcade titles, Avatar clothing add-ons, and even other pieces of DLC for Capcom’sSuper Street Fighter 4among others. But what “Darkspawn Chronicles” will be remains a mystery....
Meet the guy that kicked it all off. Dragon Quest creator Yuji Hori is going to be in Palo Alto, California this weekend to help promote the launch ofDragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelationin North America on the DS. He’ll be at a GameStop there to sign autographs for fans. Attendees will receive Dragon Quest prizes, but it sounds like only the first 50 people in line will get an autograph opportunity....

I know a lot of people were worried when it was announced thatLost Planet 2would have four player co-op. After playing the upcoming sequel with Dale North yesterday, I can’t imagine playing any futureLost Planetgame without three friends. We could tell that Capcom really put in a lot of effort to make sure that co-op really worked. We left really impressed with what we saw and decided to copy Burch N’ Davis’ style to tell you all how we felt about the game....
There are not enough games that make you simply smile.Majin and the Forsaken Kingdomaims to do its part for the cause, with a title that looks set to be one of the most adorable and endearing pieces of software ever made. It’s about a young thief and a huge troll-like creature. They work together to fight the “Darkness” and they’re absolutely darling together. Out of all the new games Sony displayed at their conference during the 2007 E3 Media & Business Summit,Infamousstood out as the most interesting in my eyes. It’s from the creators of the belovedSly Cooperseries, so you know what to expect from this game.Infamousseems to be a sort of combination betweenCrackdownandPsi-Ops— then again, the trailer is short and extremely compressed, so I might just be seeing things. But if that does happen to be the case,Infamoushas the potential to be one hell of an awesome action game....
Battlefield 3 is set to arrive on October 25 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. That’s all there is to say but we will be seeingBattlefield 3at E3 this week. I’m really looking forward to seeing just how different the console version of the game will be over the PC version.
There’s something aboutMySims Kingdomthat just fills me with joy. It’s a very cute, heart warming looking game and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed watching everything that was happening on screen. You play as a lowly pig farmer who becomes the world’s most important person as the king has asked for your help to rebuild the world. The king gives you a magical wand that you will use to build everything from bridges to help people get across rivers, connecting wheels and gears together to open up locked doors, to even building yourself a bed to catch a nap....
Shown behind a slightly closed door at Gamecocks EIEIO this year wasDungeon Hero. As the trailer (after the jump) implies, this forthcoming PC / Xbox 360 game aspires to betheanti-dungeon-crawling dungeon crawler. While no actual gameplay was shown other than some pre-rendered combat animations, the developers on hand certainly had some interesting ideas that could turn the genre on it’s head. Beyond lies a tale of gold, goblins, and tentacle rape....
