Friday Night Fights is back! Well, it never left as the community kept it going strong. This feature which rounds-up what you awesome folks always do is all that’s back. This is your chance to play with other Dtoiders in a butt-load of online multiplayer games. Yes, being social in a videogame IS a weird concept. Better than playing against random racist assholes though, right? As always, the community has arranged a number of games to be played on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3....

Last weekwas aStreet Fighterthree for all to finish off round one. I was expecting a landslide win, and it seemed like many others were as well, but the result was actually pretty close: Out of all the winners so far, the two I’m most eager to see fight to the death are Scorpion and Ryu. We’ve seen an intense Scorpion versus Ryubattle videobefore, giving us an idea of what this fight might look like, but this time we get to decide the winner....

They’re looking for someone strategic and technical, but also game-loving. Thelistingseems pretty careful to leave out any details that we could use. I was present for Tracy Fullerton’s Serious Games lecture onThe Night Journeyyesterday, and found her to be a singularly iconoclastic indie designer. She seemed to have a lot of respect for the idea of serious, independent games, and seemed (at least whereNight Journeywas concerned) to be taking some really unconventional approaches to game design. This morning at the Independent Games Summit, Fullerton gave another presentation on the future of indie games....

Time to expand your closet with more geeky apparel! Over on Teextile, they’re holding a sale where all the shirts are just $12. They happen to have two nice videogame themed shirts this week too. This “Raccoons Are Super” is super cute and the “Pacman Way” shirt is pretty stylish. On Woot Shirt right now is this pretty sick Bowser shirt called “The Original B-Boy.” Bowser rocking it out, Mushroom gansta style....

PopCap has a couple of newPlants Vs Zombieshirt designs upon their store. The one you see above and one that says “Your Grass is Mine!” While the second one is extremely facepalm worthy, the Moustache one is just plain awesome. Twisted Metalcertainly seems to be shaping up very nicely, and now there’s an extended trailer to check out some of the gameplay as well. Axel’s big two-wheeler monstrocity of a vehicle in Dale’s preview has also been announced as apre-order bonusvehicle. I guess I’ll finally have to buy a bluetooth headset now. Thanks Jaffe!

If you’re at PAX this weekend, you shouldn’t be reading this. You should be off waiting in some line somewhere, or sleeping off a hangover before waiting in line somewhere. But if you ARE reading this, heads up: Microsoft is giving away a PAX East-exclusive Avatar Prop at the show this year. It’s a “Gears of WarThrashball Cole plushie” and it’s adorable in that “ugly Avatar prop” kind of way....

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Warsbecame notorious on the DS, not for being a controversial videogame in its own right, but for perpetuating the idea that an M-rated game can’t sell on Nintendo’s handheld system. The game didn’t exactly have a strong debut, but perhaps Rockstar will have better luck when the gamecomes to the PlayStation Portable. The previous DS exclusive will be a downloadable PSPgo title. There is no talk on a release date, price, or how the touch-screen stuff will be dealt with, but new missions have been confirmed....

I’m going to go out on a limb and say this isn’t really a leakedHalo 3betavideo, but you never know — it could be. Think Bungie and MS are upset? I’d love to find out.
