I recollect that despite my excitement to play the originalDead Space, that the atmosphere was so tense that I actually found myself stressed out while playing the game. We do have some news coming out of Sony’s press conference, even though our team can’t quite update: Sony has announced the PSP is getting a hardware “refresh.” What does this mean? The system will be 33% lighter, 19% slimmer, and will feature a better battery life and faster loading times. In addition, the system will be able to output to a TV! This means your pictures, videos, and games will all be playable on a big screen if you so choose....

Here’s the first footage ofPokemon Black/White. As a long-time fan of Pokemon, even I find it to be relatively unexciting. The new camera angle city-strolling is cool, but ultimately uneventful. It would likely look awesome with some 3DS enhancements, but as it stands, this is just a PS1-era polygon-based environment mixed with some flat-sprites. Maybe that’s new for a portable Pokemon game, but certainly nothing to get too excited about....
