Today marks a very miserable day in the supposed evolution of mankind, as the British Board of Film Classification has rejected Rockstar’s PS2, PSP and Wii sequel,Manhunt 2, refusing to give it a rating and thus making its supply illegal in the United Kingdom. The game, fully covered and hyped by all major UK games publications, has been deemed an “unjustifiable harm risk” by the social babysitters at the BBFC and as such, a game that many Britons were doubtless looking forward to playing has been denied them....

THQ’sMetro 2033looks pretty damn promising, but it also looks strangely familiar. The post-apocalyptic Russian shooter very clearly takes some cues fromSTALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, and bears quite a few aesthetic similarities to games likeFallout 3andCryostasis. We got word ofa new Kinect title aimed at powering up your noggin from Namco last week, with the famous Dr. Ryuta Kawashima on board, who is behind Nintendo’s famous Brain Training series. Today, Namco spilled the rest of the details at Tokyo Game Show, letting gamers know they can look forward to this new title early next year. CalledBody and Brain Connection, the new title will accommodate up to four players and offer all the perks you expect from brain training games, but with physical movement added in....

On July 11th there will be an event called God Eater Fes 2010 in the Akihabara area of Tokyo, in Akiba Square.. Yes, it’s a promotional event with game kiosks, tournaments and item sales, but there’s also supposed to be an announcement. A digital flyer for the event says that a new product will be announced at God Eater Fes. Seeing as how Namco Bandai’s CEO mentioned “number two” a few weeks ago when talking aboutGod Eater, a sequel announcement seems likely....
