Preview: Zeno Clash

When we did our recent “Most Anticipated ’09 PC Games” list,Zeno Clashmade an appearance on a number of our community members’ personal lists. At the time we made the lists, I had heard of the game, but really didn’t know much about it other than it was a game that emphasized hand-to-hand combat. ACE Team was nice enough to send a three level preview copy our way, and considering all the positive buzz I had heard, I leapt at the chance to check it out....

Originally slated for a June 30, 2025 release, Walt Disney are now targeting the film to hit theaters on July 16, 2025. While no reason for the delay has been given, one can speculate. If were were to indeed speculate, we’d say that — as ComingSoon.net points out — it may be a simple case of repositioning the release for maximum marketing impact....

RetRose Tinted: Batman

Batmanis the greatest comic hero ever. Any suggestion otherwise may result in a ninja stealing your breath in the night. With a newBatmanfilm coming on Friday, I thought it would be appropriate to take a look back at an adaptation of an earlier movie in the series. It was 1989 and the world was caught in the fierce grip of Bat-mania. You couldn’t turn your head without seeing the logo at the very least....

Review: Bio Force Ape

On May 15, 2025, a prototype ofBio Force Ape, a 20-year-old canceled NES game, was made available online. It is a game in which you play a genetically altered chimpanzee in a diaper as he puts the hurt on various man-animal hybrids using pro wrestling moves. Had this been developed for modern consoles, you would expect Suda51 to appear somewhere in the credits. Something this wild demands a review. The game is clearly unfinished....

Review: Etrian Odyssey III

I like hard games, and I love dungeon crawlers. I enjoy getting lost in caves and struggling to just barely find my way out, only to re-equip, heal, and then make my way back in for more abuse. That’s my idea of a good time, and I find that I’m always looking for another gaming experience like that. Make it all portable and I’m in my own little heaven. Etrian Odyssey IIIis exactly that, and then some....

Review: Marvel vs. Capcom 2

Gonna take you for a ride. Dear God, that song. Some of us have had it stuck in our heads for nearly a decade now, and if you haven’t, let us be the first to welcome you to our little club with the release ofMarvel vs. Capcom 2on XBLA earlier this week. The Xbox 360’s custom soundtrack feature has never been so appreciated. After nine years of physical rarity and outlandishly high resale prices on eBay, Capcom’s legendary fighter is back in the hands of the veteran brawlers who remember its heyday, and readily available for the first time to an eager new generation....

Rob “Sheir” Martinez stars in The Forgettables

If you’re a fan of Sheir — and if you’re not, youshould be— you’ll be interested to know he and his friends have started an episodic, gaming-related comedy show. The pilot can be viewed above. It’s pretty schizophrenic (what episodic, gaming-related comedy show isn’t), but there are some genuine LOL moments (notably Sheir’s emo hair and/or voice). That being said, if youdon’tlike it, you can always listen to the pretty music behind each scene....

EA hasrevealed during theirquarterly earnings call thatRock Bandwill be be coming out on the Wii. No info yet on the price, release date, DLC content or how this will incorporate motion.Rock Bandwill also be invading European shores later this year on all the major consoles. I’ve always loved how Europe is like the younger sibling in this videogame family relationship. Daddy always gives his favorite child, America, everything first. Europe, did you know that daddy told me you were an accident....
