In her human form, Anjali brandishes a staff or a spear in combat. When she releases the burning spirit inside of her, she wields scorching fire magic....

Although originally listed for November 25, Tecmo Koei has today announced thatDynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legendswill be dropping a little earlier, instead arriving November 15. This is obviously a massive deal to everybody. The game will feature such things as attacks, weapons, and graphics. There will be characters to choose from, the we’ve confirmed that it will support the standard controller on your console of choice. The PS3 version will ship on a Blu-ray....

True story: After watching yesterday’sCrackdown 2reveal trailer, I punched a guy in the faceper Chad’s request. With so many wonderful games being presented at E3, it’s difficult to rank my most anticipated, but this Ruffian Games-developed sequel is definitely high up there for me. The ever-watchfuleyes of Joystiqcaught what appears to be the first, albeit basic details onCrackdown 2‘s multiplayer thanks to anXbox.com pagefor the game. As hinted at in the trailer, there will be co-op support for four players, and an unknown multiplayer mode (or modes) for up to 16 players....

During the Sony press conference, we got our first look atinFamous 2, the sequel to Sucker Punch’s 2009 super-anti-hero sandbox title on the PS3. We see Cole running around a very New Orleans-ish environment, doing his thing, shooting lighting out his anus and causing general mayhem. Then all of a sudden, wham! Ice powers. Hence the very Mister Freeze-ish post title. I’m so witty. No release date was announced, but we should still expectinFamous 2to drop in 2011....

I’ve had some mixed impressions of theSkyward Sworddemo here at E3. I really loved the demo’s boss battle, but was left sort of lukewarm after playing the game’s bird chasing mini-game. Neither of those are that important though. You wont be doing that kind of stuff in the game all that often in the real game. No, the bulk of the Zelda experience is spent exploring in dungeons and the overworld, which is what I got a taste of in the game’s dungeon demo....

Finally, the first look atSoulcalibur 5′s gameplay in action! Nambco Bandai has released its E3 trailer for the upcoming fighter, which gives us a good idea of what to expect. It looks likeSoulcalibur, alright. I don’t know why people keep messing with this sword, it’s clearly bad news. Soulcalibur 5is out next year for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and it will be at E3 next week in some form, although I’m not entirely sure it’ll be playable....

Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello envisionsOrigin— an EA-exclusive Steam knock-off — as the videogame equivalent of HBO and Netflix combined. Electronic Arts’ misfortune continues, as the former dominatrix of the games industry has announced thatplans have been scrappedfor new studio in Vancouver, Canada. Citing lower-than-expected revenue figures and ongoing global economic problems, EA has had to give up its hope of a 20,000-square foot facility in Vancouver’s Yaletown district. No clue was given as to what the studio’s focus was intended to be, and no hiring target was made known....
