Samba de Amigo, like a fair few Dreamcast titles, has become a cult favorite among gamers. The beloved rythm action game which uses a pair of fake maracas endeared itself to many, so it comes as no surprise that rumors of it heading to the Wii caused quite a stir. The rumors started after a listing was discovered on a retail site, but it seems that the game is becoming more real by the day, with apractical confirmationfrom Ninteno via its official magazine....

Zeboyd Games has a short, but notable update on the PC version ofCthulhu Saves the World: it’s going to release on Steam.The current aimis to get this title out by the end of the month at a low price of $3, similar to the Xbox Live Indie game original. The Kickstarter for this expanded gamewas successful, and I have a feeling PC gamers are going to giveCthulhumuch more attention than those on Xbox 360 ever did....

Kickboxer Cung Le’s videogame-related resume is fleshing out nicely. The former Stikeforce Middle Weight Champion recently portrayed Marshall Law in the upcoming (straight to DVD?)Tekkenfilm based on Namco Bandai’s fighter. Now, the fighter-turned-actor will be making an in-game appearance as himself in the upcoming EA Sports MMA title for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. EA sat down with Le to discuss the mo-cap process, which apparently involved him kicking the sh*t out of some poor dude....

Freestyle Games believes that clever marketing in some stores has led to more decks being sold. “I can’t confirm it, but someone’s told me the same thing about DJ equipment — that they’ve seen sales in The States at Best Buy and Wal-Mart increase,” says Freestyle creative director Jamie Jackson....
