If you want to get technical the 3DS is tops right now in Japan, but just barely. Nintendo’s 3D portable and Sony’s beloved PSP are really close as far as sales figures go. The 3DS only beats the PSP by a few hundred units. The 3DS sales for the week ending March 27 were 50,710, and PSP sales were 50,479. I guess if you want to add in PSP go to the PSP sales, then Sony actually manages to beat the 3DS out with 51,079....

To say that fans have been upset by Capcom’s cancellation ofMega Man Legends 3is to say that Mega Man likes blue pants. Design icon Keiji Inafune has sympathized with gamers, and even went so far as to apologize, despite having nothing to do with Capcom anymore. “The decision for the cancelation was out of my sphere, but as someone who took part in the development, I’d like to convey something to the staff: I’m sorry that I couldn’t be of assistance,” he said, before addressing the fans with: “I’m truly sorry I couldn’t take part until the end....
