Ignition has released another trailer for its upcoming “it’ll probably be so bad it’s good” third-person horror title,Deadly Premonition, and it certainly delivers. By “delivers” I mean ridiculous dialogue, hilarious animation (that doesn’t match the dialogue), and then… something happens at the end that’s all like “Seriously?” The trailer introduces us to Special Agent Francis York Morgan, the cigarette smoking FBI agent who talks a a mysterious contact called “Zach” that no one ever sees....

It’s very rare these days for a game to be PC exclusive, with titles that previously dominated the medium making their way to consoles.Dungeon Siege IIIis no exception, heading to PS3 and Xbox 360 as well as PC. According to Obsidian associate producer Nathan Davis, however, the game should satisfy any gamer, no matter their preference. “In a lot of ways, makingDungeon Siege IIIhas been a fairly typical multiplatform production with all of the advantages and challenges that come along with it,” he explained....

It’s finally here. The first official release ofDystopia, the user-created mod that is everything thatMicrosoft’sShadowrunhopes to be, has been let loose on the public and we couldn’t be happier. Picture this: the world is in shambles, corporations run everything, the governments are mere shadow puppets for sinister forces that seek to steal your clothes, your dog and some of your hair; you can play as either the oppressive, jack-booted thugs (with their powerful, jack-booted weaponry), or the lithe, nimble-as-a-rabbit resistance fighters (with their lithe, deadly-as-a-really-deadly-rabbit weaponry)....

The big PSP bombshell at the Sony Press Conference was the unveiling ofResistance: Retribution. Bend Studio, known for its work with a whopping sevenSyphon Filtertitles, is developing the game.Retributionis a third-person shooter, starring a guy not named Nathan Hale. Despite the lack of Hale, the PSP rendition ofResistanceis looking just as chaotic and action-packed. The game will act as a bridge betweenResistance: Fall of ManandResistance 2. It is set mere weeks after the invasion of Britain....

The fourth Kojima Production game was just announced at theKonami press conferenceand it’s a newCastlevaniagame! It’s calledCastlevania: Lords of Shadowand it has something to do with that melting mask that was on the Konami teaser site. It’s being developed for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and should be out 2010. The trailer that was shown features Patrick Stewart, Robert Carlysle, Jason Isaacs and Natasha McElhone. Dave Cox, producer on the game, says that this is “a new and bold take on theCastlevaniamythology....

I knew Sony bigwig Kaz Hirai had something up his sleeve when he showed up on stage at the Sony press conference this morning. But it was in his pocket. And out of this mismatched jacket of his came a PSP Go, in either a silver or white. I don’t care what color it was, though. I need it. You’ll see that in the video above, as well as hear all the details on Sony’s newest console, set to drop on October 1st....

The more I see ofLittleBigPlanet 2, the more I want it. Alex Evans ofLBPdeveloper Media Molecule presented some footage from the game at Sony’s E3 press conference yesterday, and the most impressive part for me was the segment that showed off levels that had been created in only a 24-hour time period. As we saw with the two-million-plus levels from the originalLittleBigPlanet, there are some tremendously creative and skilled people out there, and I bet they can’t wait to put their talents to use inLittleBigPlanet 2....

There I am, pointing my laser pointing device to signal where the Nuke should be dropped. I’m pretty close to my intended target to the point that I start to worry about getting hurt from the Nuke’s blast. But then I remember that the developer was kind enough to turn on God mode. I can’t die and I have access to every single weapon and vehicle. More previews should be done this way....

Braidis finally out on XBLA today, and, what with it being beautiful, intelligent, and 400 MS Points more expensive than gamers might be used to, I’m a little worried not as many people will be playing the game as it deserves. A proper Destructoid review is forthcoming, but withBionic Commando Rearmedcoming out next week, I feel like more immediate measures need to be taken at this point. Right before I looked at the newFable III: Traitor’s KeepDLCyesterday, I played around withFable IIIfor PC, as well as the mobile gameFable Coin Golffor Windows Phone 7. Fable IIIseems like a pretty straightforward port, with a couple new bits. First, there’s the addition of a “hardcore mode” difficulty setting. So, if you like your meat rare and your games tough, this might be for you. Second, there’s support forNvidia 3D Vision....
