If it wasn’t enough that Japan is getting the Namco Bandai’s beautiful Wii “ruin exploration” gameFragile, now they’re getting a special pre-order soundtrack. Free virtual clothing. What a way to promote something. They’re doing exactly that in Japan’s PlayStation Home. Visit Japan’s Home between the dates of August 21 and 23 andwatch a trailer for the upcoming PS3 Gundam game, Namco Bandai’sKidou Senshi Gundam Senki,and you’ll get a chance to nab some free avatar clothing. Naturally, it’s clothing from Gundam, giving you an outfit that would make you look like aFederation soldier. If you’re doing the Japan Home thing and are keen on all things Gundam, you had better get a move on....

JeuxFrance, I site that I’m never sure if I’m pronouncing right, has brought to light that one of the bestKirbygames ever made is being remade for the Nintendo DS. Not much is really known at the moment other than the few screens that were released, and the expected release date being sometime in 2008. Videogames have this funny tendency to capture the imagination. Some of us figurines, create Lego replicas, or even draw our favorite characters. For Cassie, her love of the NES version ofSuper Mario Brothershas translated to an endearing project called “TheMarioScarf.” Basically, theMarioscarf is a free-hand version of entire level 1-1 map offered by the guys over atIan-Albert. Cassie is free-handing it because the pattern of the map is a bit too large to fit on one scarf....

Media Molecule has revealed that today will see the launch of the very firstLittleBigPlanetMusic Pack, containing brand new interactive tunes to add to your levels. These new tracks are completely original, composed by Sonica Studios’ Mat Clark, who was also responsible for much of the original music already in the game....

Ex-Fresno State student and gun fan Jonquel Brooks has beengiven life in prisonfollowing an attack on four men who accused him of stealing a PlayStation 2. On July 14, 2025, Brooks was approached by group who maintained that he stole the system, and to prove that he’s not a man with criminal inclinations, he shot them, killing one and hitting two others. Brooks still claims he never stole the PS2, and no evidence was found at his house, though to be fair that’s the last of his troubles....

Emanuel Lawrencefaces chargesof aggravated manslaughter after a pot-fueled gaming binge caused him to fall asleep …on his daughter. In a night of activity that police are calling “irresponsible,” Lawrence smoked marijuana and played his Xbox 360 until 6am before crashing on a small girl’s head. The unemployed Lawrence was watching the kids while their mother worked a day job and went to night school. Forty-five minutes after falling asleep, he received a call asking him to feed his daughter Jaidyn....

Zen Studios had so much good news to share during Comic-Con this week. For one thing, theMarvel Pinballseries will be coming to iOS, Android, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, PC and WiiU all by the end of 2012. We’ll be getting exact release dates and prices as we get close to each launch. As for the next Marvel themed pinball table, it’s based on Ghost Rider! The “Vengeance and Virtue” edition of tables will first start off with our favorite flaming skull bike rider set in Hell....
