Now here’s a genre of game that never occurred to me as being absolutely perfect for the iPhone/iPad platforms.Solomon’s Keepis a new release in the App Store that’s basically a cartoonishDiablo. Of course! It was so simple! I can’t believe that I hadn’t made the instant mental connection between all the tapping people do on their iPhones and the basic gameplay mechanic ofDiablo. I wasn’t expecting something scary when I heard that NanaOn-Sha, makers ofPaRappa The Rapper, were making a Kinect title. You might expect something scary when you hear the nameHaunt, but this game is closer to a virtual fun house than anything. I got a chance to give this title a spin on the show floor of TGS, at Microsoft’s booth.
