Sony has released a handy comparative breakdown of the PlayStation Move, putting it up against Kinect and the Wii in a variety of categories. Unsurprisingly, Sony has judged that Move beats out the competition. The basic message seems to be that Move does the work of both Kinect and the Wii combined. Hilariously, Sony adds “built-in rechargeable batteries” as one of its features, and states that Kinect does not have them....

Sony is all about telling you how successful their platforms are, and how long you’re going to enjoy playing them. The PSP is no exception. They’re not about to tell you to stop buying and playing PSP games, even with their new portable, codenamed NGP, on the horizon. Sony’s worldwide studios president Shuhei Yoshida wants the PSP to live forever, even if you’re already moving onto the NGP in your mind....

GAME’s buying director, Alex Croft, is then quoted as mentioning howHalo 3is one of the most anticipated games of 2007 and their customers are “hungry to get hold of it.” The beta initiative, he says, is a great way for gamers to influence the development ofHalo 3, and to ensure a top-quality title....

I’ve always marveled at the amount of terrible decisions that Nintendo has made in terms of content on the Virtual Console. It’s not like the games that they pick are bad, it’s just that I want to have some more premiere titles available to me. Today, Europeans can rejoice because one of those premiere titles has finally hit the wire. Game Informercontinues to melt my face off with itsGears of War 3coverage, nowhaving posted a massive galleryof screenshots and concept art from Epic’s upcoming third-person shooter. Unsurprisingly, it looks incredible… but if it’s so unsurprising, what’s up with me having to pick my jaw up off of the floor? The shots show off a bunch of new in-game stuff, including what appears to be a standing kick melee attack, mounted guns, and images of newcomers Anya Stroud and Jace Stratton in action....
