Propaganda Games and Disney Interactive decided the world hasn’t had enoughTrongames, choosing this evening’s Spike Video Game Awards show to unveilTron Evolution— a newTronvideogame. Neat. The teaser trailer that accompanied the announcement didn’t even help us decided a genre: is it an MMO, we asked? Is it an action RPG or an adventure title? We’re not sure, but we do know that the game has lots of blue lights and a hooded antagonist who doesn’t sell himself short....

WhenTwo Worlds IIwas announced, it is said that Jesus Christ himself wept tears of purest piss and that every virgin girl in the world had her hymen shattered into a thousand bloodsoaked pieces. Sony really knows how to time a release. There is no doubt that, hadUncharted 2: Among Thievesreleased at any other time, it would have soared to the top of the UK Chart. Unfortunately, however, Sony’s latest PS3 exclusive decided to come out afterFIFA 10, and as such, has been held in second place thanks to Britain’s creepy obsession with soccer … and yes I meant to call it soccer. Great news for everyone still addicted toLeft 4 Dead. Valve has confirmed that the DLC will be released free of charge for both PC and 360, which is kind of incredible since we know that Microsoft allowing a company to release free DLC is extremely rare. It’s nice to see that Valve is finally being given some freedom to stick to their standard operating procedure, and that Microsoft is finally relaxing some of its more ridiculous policies....

Hey, would you look at this? It appears that the long rumored 40 GB PlayStation 3 is indeed a reality. Confirmed for Europe today (still waiting on a US confirmation), the 40 GB model will hit stores on October 10, and will cost €399. The new model will be Wi-Fi compatible, and will have an HDMI port, as well. The 40 GB model will only two USB 2.0 ports (as opposed to four), and the mult-memory card port has been done away with as well....
