A recent article over atGamesPoliticssuggests that owners of the controversial hentai title,RapeLay, could be found guilty of possessing child pornography in US courts. This stems from a recent decision by the 4th US District Court of Appeals where the court refused to hear the appeal of Dwight Whorley of Virginia. While Whorley was convicted for possession of very real pornography of very real children, he was also charged on account of owning manga which depicted children and animals engaged in sexual acts....
It looks likeLittleBigPlanetcould be making mad bank for Sony when it launches on the PSP, if the promise of “Purchased Levels” turns out to be what it sounds like. Patent trollTim Langdell— a man who has made a career out of trying to sue companies who use the word “edge” — was beaten by Electronic Arts after a short legal battle. The court declared that not only did EA have the rights to the nameMirror’s Edge, but that Langdell’s business practices could warrant further criminal charges. Langdell has been accused by the court of making fraudulent claims to the US Patent and Trademark Office....
From the time I first sawBack to the Future, I have wanted a DeLorean. Completely impractical (from a maintenance/financial standpoint) and completely awesome, it’s pretty much the coolest car ever designed. Except, of course, for a DeLorean which has been converted into a time machine. IfPersona 3was one of your favorite titles of 2007, this ought to come as welcome news. In Atlus’ recent company profile, they mention several titles scheduled for next year, including a sequel toEtrian OdysseyandPersona 4. The latter is listed as a PS2 game however, so it looks like the title will not be making the jump to next-gen consoles. This may be disappointing news to some, but seeing as howPersona 3performed quite well in Japan and is very popular there, it may not phase most gamers....
CVGhave somenew (REAL) screensof Sega’s tactical xenomorph shooter,Aliens: Colonial Marines. While the first proposed “scans” were most likely fake, these new ones are the real deal and look hotter than the mother of all MILFs, the Alien Queen herself. The xenomorphs, arguably the stars of the show, look gorgeous, with just the right level of detail and shiny sleekness to bring Giger’s nightmarish phallic creations to life. The environments also promise a moody and, dare I say it, scary atmosphere....

We’ve all been there: a new game is forthcoming and your anticipation has pushed you to the brink of insanity. The wait is absolutely intolerable until that fateful morning rolls around when you haul your ass to the store, pick up your game, nearly slay hundreds of women and children in your savage death-race back home, and pop in the disc.
