According to rumored details out of a Japanese investor meeting, the eShop, web browser, and DSiWare transfer capabilities of the Nintendo 3D won’t be available until May. At Nintendo’s 3DS event in New York City last week, Nintendo of America’s Reggie Fils-Aime was cagey about the capabilities, only saying that they’d be available as downloads after the 3DS was purchased. Now it seems that could be upwards of two months; the 3DS hits North American retailer shelves on March 27....

South Australian Attorney General Michael Atkinson is the single man responsible for Australia’s backwards rating system in which videogames deemed unsuitable for fifteen-year-olds isbannedorcensored. He alone is resisting any attempt to update the ratings, but it seems like he’s finally going to have to defend himself — he’sup against a game developerin the 2010 state elections.
