Well, it’s not just an Xbox 360. It’s a premium gaming PC with an integrated Xbox 360 ‘slim’ inside. Oh, and did I mention that the Xbox 360 is liquid cooled? Origin calls it theBig O, and says that it gives gamers the best of both worlds. Look at the picture above. Check out the bottom left corner of the massive case. You’ll see an Xbox 360 tray. Seriously. Running right alongside the Xbox 360 innards is Intel Xeon 5680 processors, each with six cores....

I make no secret of my affinity for all things Capcom circa the 1990s, and when they announced that they would be updating bothSuper Puzzle FighterandSuper Street Fighter II Turbo, I nearly wet myself with glee. I spent a good chunk of my formative years with theStreet Fighterseries, and for Capcom to update them for today’s high-end technology while maintaining the same crisp, addictive gameplay I once broke up with a girl for insulting is the sort of fan service you only get from a company who both cares about its fans and knows that the appearance of caring about your fans is an excellent way to take their cash....

One of my favorite iOS games,Pix n’ Love Rush, is getting a free update today in the form of Rainbow Rush. This new mode takes the form of a “runner” style game in which Pix the Cat has to collect colors and avoid obstacles. Pix n’ Love Rushcomes highly recommended by yours truly, if you have an iOS device and need something to play. The solid platforming is enhanced with wonderfully original visuals and a great soundtrack....

It’s Tuesday and I’m currently playingLost Odyssey, but because SOME people insist on downloading our podcasts, I have to keep making them. So yeah, thanks very much for stopping me playing that awesome, awesome game (and it IS awesome). Speaking of awesome games, that is the subject of tonight’s episode — more specifically, the awesome games that have come from Europe over the years. NoMetal Gearre-enactments this week, I’m afraid; it’s back to the usual, alternately crude and intelligent discussions that Podtoid aspires to offer on a weekly basis. Last night, Tiff Chow, Jim Sterling, Aaron Linde and myself were joined byJonathan Blow, creator of the single best game ever to hit Xbox Live Arcade. It was pretty awesome. You can listen to the whole thinghere. Though we didn’t technically discuss any spoilers, I still wouldn’t recommend listening unless you’ve played through the game: certain things about the ending are hinted at, and most of the discussion probably won’t be that interesting to you anyway if you haven’t actually experienced the game yet....

HA! “PokePark” sounds like a pervert stalker’s dream. But it’s reallyPokéPark(see the little mark?), a Pokémon Wii game that never came out here. It’s based on an IRL theme park in Japan, so it kind of makes sense that the rest of the world wouldn’t get the game, but now it looks like it’s actually coming out asPokéPark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure. Australia’sOFLCratings board has rated the game G, for “General.” Yeah, no surprise there....

In Januarywe coveredsome buzz about Sony possibly dropping the price on the PS3. Most of our readers made it pretty clear that a price cut wouldn’t make that much of a difference to them, and it was left at that. Now, according to CNN Money, an analyst with Goldman Sachs predicts a $100 price cut in October, giving a bit more weight to the rumor. Yuji Fujimori of Goldman Sachs feels that a price drop will not hurt the long term profitability for the PS3, and it will give Sony a much needed push in the battle against rivals Nintendo and Microsoft....

The PlayStation Network-exclusive reality showThe Testeris either going to be the greatest thing ever or the worst — there’s no middle ground here. To quickly catch you up to speed, 11 contestants are asked to perform in seemingly irrelevant physical and mental challenges to win the job title “videogame tester.” A bunch of new info surrounding the show has been unveiled today, including: it’s premiering on February 18, will be absolutely free to watch, and Hal Sparks has signed on as a panelist....
