By far the only interesting part of Nintendo’s 3DS press conference last night was the announcement of a newDynasty Warriorstitle. This is afactthat has been confirmed byscience. Dynasty Warriors Vs.is a new portable hack n’ slasher designed for four-player competitive gaming. Each player gets three generals, and they have to take over territory on the map before siezing the opposing player’s headquarters. The map is broken into squares on the bottom screen, color-coded by player occupation, and gameplay consists of the familiar button-mashing we’re used to....

With all the fancy 3D games and their complicated controls coming out lately, sometimes it is nice to see something with some clean, simple sensibilities in mind. This refreshing, retro way of thinking is never more evident than in thejust announcedNew Super Mario Bros. Following a brief introduction to Steel Series at CES back in January, I had admittedly become quite the fan. Ignition has had to delayEl Shaddaito August 16, pushed back from its original date of July 26. “Unforeseen logistical issues” have been named as the reason for this surprisingly late postponement notice. European gamers will be pleased to know that the date for PAL territories is unchanged. It will be available August 06, 2025, as originally planned.

Two Worldswasn’t too hot. I know it. You know it. The people who made the game know it. One person who definitely knows it is villainous henchman Sordahon, who gave up the life of a mysterious brooding thrall to become a mysterious brooding resident of Midlothian. Fable IIIis a real thing. Weeks ago, British television personality Jonathan Rossinadvertently confirmed the gamewhen he mentioned doing voice work for it via the ever-troublesome social networking tool Twitter. Lionhead Studios essentially confirmed it as well with the release ofFable IIdownloadable content ‘See the Future’ — a scrap of content aimed at giving fans a glimpse of where the series is headed. Now, we have an exciting new affirmation, and it’s just about as odd as the initial confirmation of the title: a wedding announcement....

Each week, Fanboy Friday takes a look at some of the most ridiculous, asinine, and unintentionally hilarious comments made by fanboys from a variety of gaming sites. Alright, so E3 is coming up in a couple weeks, which is exciting. What is not exciting is that, in the weeks leading up to E3, there’s usually no major game releases or really any major news that gets the fanboys all riled up, and that means I don’t have a ton of material to work with....
