Screenshot attack! Here’s a nice big fat wad ofFinal Fantasy XIIIscreenshots, just because Square Enix felt like reminding everybody that the biggest RPG of the generation still exists. I’m sure we all forgot! The latest screens show off big firey red things, loads of sexy looking battle screens, and more images of that rather saucy looking lady who likes to hang out with Bahamut. A few of the screens look like duplicates from previous galleries, but there’s plenty of new stuff to check out as well, so make sure you do that....

Disney Interactive Studios is getting serious. They spent $4 billion onMarvel last week, and now they’ve brought Bungie co-founder Alex Seropian on-board. With Seripian comes his whole development studio, Wideload Games. I thought the increasingly pompousKingdom Heartsnames were bad enough, but this is reaching the point of self-satire. Oh well, that’s what the follow-up to Square Enix’s PSP brawler is called and we’ll have to deal with it now. Kotaku’s party at Barcade last Friday was for the button smashing, hipster hoppin’, drink slugging folk. Cozily nested in Brooklyn’s too-cool-for-school zone, Williamsburg, readers rubbed elbows and talked nerdy with the enitre Kotaku team, occasionally stepping aside for a good round on the ol’ DS lite. Brian Crecente and wife were never seen without a sturdy wall of gamer geeks surrounding them, Flynn De Marco handed out magical Barcade stamps that equaled happy fun drink time, and a few readers were blessed with free gaming goodies....
