Just becauseMaddenis coming to the iPad and the iPhone doesn’t mean that it’s going to be a watered down experience. All the teams and stadiums in the console version will be featured here plus there’s going to be something that the console version guys might be jealous of. Exclusive to the iPad is a new mode called “Vintage Voltage Football” and is a throwback to thoseelectric football board gamesof yesteryear. EA wasn’t ready to show off the new mode, but imagineMaddenwith everyone vibrating around on the field....

One of the coolest things about the internet being hooked up to our new-fangled gaming machines is that sports games can update on the fly. For instance, every week of the football seasonMadden 2011will be updated with the correct rosters and injuries for your team. This first week there are over 500 hundred changes. How crazy is that. You can check them all out over atMadden‘s website, but I’m pretty sure most of us don’t care about 95 percent of the changes....

Super Mario Bros. Crossoveris getting another iconic character (at least in this household):Blaster Master‘s Sophia the Third. While the updated game isn’t out yet, you can expect to blow up the Mushroom Kingdom later this month when it does go live. Sophia will be able to hover, shoot rockets, stick to walls, and basically do everything a badass supertank with an inexplicably awesome name should be able to do. She’s like the anti-Simon Belmont....

I’m sure you’ll agree that Tecmo makes a damned fine videogame, but my favorite of all their works is theFatal Frame/Zero/Reiseries of games. While it isn’t the most popular of the survival horror games, I think it manages to be one of the scariest, and I’ve been looking forward to details on the upcoming Wii versionsince we first heard about it last fall. With new environments, new weapons, new enemies and a fresh story,Dead Moneyis pretty much what you expectFalloutDLC to be. Despite its flaws, I really did thinkNew Vegaswas a superb game and I’m looking forward to jumping back in withDead Money. Is anybody else looking forward to it, or did you make the silly mistake of getting a PS3/PC version?...

Hey Sony, do you want to make another controller as well? Oh wait, you already have a motion-sensing one. Hell, if you stand back and squint your eyes a bit, this new Nintendo controller could be an Xbox 360 motion-sensing controller....
