Here’s a new trailer for you lovelyDynasty Warriors 7fans to enjoy. A lot of it is recycled from previous video, but this one is in English, complete with voice acting, so it should prove interesting for the brave handful of you who care. The trailer also confirms my worry that the game is usingDynasty Warriors: Strikeforce‘s double-weapon system. While not a dealbreaker, something bugs me about every character using every other character’s weapon....

The Saboteurlooks hot from what we’ve seen this afternoon. Pandemic’s Tom French took the stage today at Los Angeles’ Orpheum Theater during EA’s press conference to show off their latest in a quick real-time demo for attendees. The city setting, a stylized Nazi-occupied Paris, was mostly devoid of color, with red and yellow accents from things like signs and light sources. The 1940’s vibe didn’t necessarily come through in the visuals at first, but as hero Sean Devlin scales more some buildings and makes his way to a war ground, the style begins to shine through....

I’m here at E3 today trying to help out the rest of the crew relay back to you, the readers, the total influx of news, videos and images coming down the pipe. The stories are being divvied out without question, so essentially, here I am with anAssassin’s Creed IItrailer from E3, which depicts scenes from the upcoming sequel to a game I’ve actually never played. On top of that,the Internet connection here is such crap that I can’t load more than the first five seconds of the video, making it pretty hard for me to give you my impressions....

In an exclusive arrangement with LucasArts, Microsoft announced today a brand newStar Warsgame coming in 2011. A third-person action game, we were presented with a Jedi as he reflected laser shots back at storm troopers, used force powers and pushes, defeated gigantic droids, and finally entered a dual with Vader. Unfortunately, it was video only, so we saw no one actually play the game. Fudgie business indeed. Stylistically, the graphics of this game are surprisingly nice....

[Update: the software for these two games will work together in some undisclosed fashion. ThanksNick Chester!] A new Smash Bros. games is in development that will be playable on Nintendo’s 3DS handheld and new Wii U console. There are no details at the moment, but we will add them as soon as we get them.

EA Sports SVP Andrew Wilson has promised that “a time” will come when subscription fees are introduced in exchange for access to content. Oh, and it’ll beyourfault, the consumers “forcing” companies to do it. “If we look at what consumers have pushed other industries for,” he explained, “if we look at what consumers forced the music industry to provide, if we look at what consumers have driven as a result of television and movie subscription, if you look at us -– there’s absolutely a time somewhere at some point in the future where the consumers say, ‘Hey, this is how we want to interact with you: we want to give you a monthly or annual subscription and we want access to everything you make....

Capcom hasa rather interesting wayof reviewing its market to find out which of its old franchises could do with a remake. It checks eBay to find out which games are the hottest property. “To choose titles to revive, we see if we can give old franchises the modern touch, and we evaluate the fanbase and see if there’s a market for it,” stated John Diamonon of Capcom. “Sometimes we see games on eBay, and that’s how you see what games people are willing to spend $80 on....

Here’s a series of brief videos fromEpic Mickey. They show distinctly different areas of the game and a variety of gameplay styles. There’s a bit of 2D platforming, some 3D-platforming and puzzle-solving and a little taste of combat towards the end. I’m eager to get my hands on the game. It seems as though I’ve passed by it countless times at events and just never been able to find the time to give it a proper inspection....

The games industry continues to complain about second-hand games, and this time Epic Games man Michael Capps haschipped in to reiteratehow big an issue this is for people that like money. Capps suggests the industry will take steps to combat this problem, bringing up the dodgy use of DLC as a honeytrap. “I think DLC will be increasing in scope just because in the US we really need to make strides against the second-hand market,” explains Capps....

Growing up inthe 80’s, one of my absolute favorite cartoons wasThe Magic School Bus. I was entertained by the ridiculous animations, wacky writing and catchy tunes while actually learning things that I would probably tune out in school. I have not watched that show in many years, but it has continued to educate and entertain in book and cartoon form, with games soon being added to that list courtesy ofThe Magic School Bus: Oceanson the Nintendo DS....

For months we waited, hoped, speculated and gossiped about it, but finally it’s 100 percent confirmed:BioShockon PS3. The big question since has been: Would you buy the game again if you already owned it for 360 or on PC, and if so, why? Obviously, the game’s chances of being purchased again by people who already own it in some form would be helped by additional content.
