A major retailer has toldthe Hollywood Reporterthat the Premium Xbox 360 (20 GB) will be dropping in price to $299. The $50 price drop is set to take place right before E3 and will undercut the 40 GB PS3 price by $100. In most cases, I really don’t like running Rumortoids, but the Hollywood Reporter didcall the lastXbox 360 price drop just a couple of weeks before Microsoft made theprice drop officialin August of last year....

Theseason finale of Once Upon a Pixelis finally here! This episode is probably my favorite of them all. It was really fun to make, and covers three of my favorite things ever: theMarioseries, kaiju movies, and classic anime. The music was composed by my good friend and music wizard Danny Baranowsky. In case you hadn’t gotten a chance to tryOverlordon the Xbox 360 or PC, the game is being ported over to the PlayStation 3 for release this Summer. As per most fashionably late PS3 ports,Overlord: Raising Hellwill include some added incentive. Essentially,Overlord: Raising Hellis just getting all of thedownloadable contentthat’s already available for the Xbox 360 and PC versions, but for free. Besides that, there’s going to be a mini-map, which should prove to be invaluable for a game as confusing asOverlord....

Okay, real quick-like, I’m going to explain that image. This guy told me last PAX thatKingsport Horror(an expansion for my current favorite board game,Arkham Horror) was going to be available by Halloween of 2007. Do not trust this man, as he made me very sad for many months. PAX isn’t just a videogame show, it’s a celebration of geekdom. All manner of dork pursuits can be found within its hallowed halls, including one of my favorite pasttimes: tabletop gaming....

I’ve held on to this for a little while now because I didn’t want it to get lost in everything that came out of E3. I was surprised that I didn’t really hear anybody talking about it at the show. That up there is the Peregrine and, while it looks like a sleeker version of the Power Glove, this thing appears to actually do what it claims. Peregrine is a USB input device for mapping keyboard commands....

According to theDigiTimes, Pixart Imaging will begin “sampling” MEMS chips for the next Wii late this year. Pixart will also be expected to produce more infrared solutions for Nintendo, as the next console will be using the same infrared capabilities of the Wii. In addition to being the supplier of sensor supplies for Nintendo, Pixart is most known for the brilliant movie,Toy Story. For those unaware,Toy Storyis a delightful tale of adventure revolving around a ranch hand and a cowboy in Wyoming....

Time for yet another story about whatgreatpeople we gamers can be. Somenefarious new hackeryhas been wrecking the PS3 version ofModern Warfare 2, allowing cheaters to scale the top of the leaderboards with ludicrously high scores. Not ones for subtlety, the cheaters have awarded themselves impossible statistics, such as gameplay time running into tens of thousands of days. The problem appears to be incredibly widespread, with hacking information readily available online for people with so little self-esteem that they need to cheat in an online videogame to make themselves look like they’ve accomplished something in life....
