Fans of thePersonaseries waited more than a decade forPersona 2: Innocent Sinto be released in English, and now that Atlus’ enhanced PSP port has hit shelves, some of those fans areraging, because it seems the game is missing some content that was in the original Japanese release. Specifically pertaining to the game’s “Climax Theatre” feature. For those not in the know, Climax Theatre is a feature added to the remake that amounts to a set of optional dungeons and events that players can go through for special rewards, story details, new challenges, or simple level grinding....

Electronic Arts executive Peter Moore has beentalking piracyfollowingthe newsthat a coalition of game studios were pursuing cases against thousands of British software pirates. Rather than support his fellow industry members, however, Moore has voiced criticism over what he calls “punishing your consumer.” The former Microsoft man had this to say: [Suing consumers] didn’t work for the music industry. I’m not a huge fan of trying to punish your consumer. Albeit these people have clearly stolen intellectual property, I think there are better ways of resolving this within our power as developers and publishers....

Atlus was kind enough to let us scrub in on surgery. They’re still operating onTrauma Team, the next the series ofTrauma Centergames, and they wanted us to see the insides of this patient. We got avery quick look at E3, where we spent most of our time admiring the nurses, and now we’re finally getting a better look. How did it go? Surgery was a success, I’d say. Hey look — morePrince of Persianews! After a somewhat soft marketing and PR push for the upcoming title, Ubisoft have been on a roll lately with theirPrince of Persianews. Now today, they’ve announced that the game has gone gold, which means it’s done and ready to go to manufacturing for its early December release (the 3rd in the US, the 5th in the UK). Ubisoft has also released the fourth developer diary, which details a bit about the game’s open world....

An Xbox 360 system update? Oh sweet, I wonder what it does? I hope it adds th–wait, it’s justmeant to prepour consoles for the impending Facebook/Twitter/Last.FM update. False alarm, everybody. Here’s a little bit of advice based on something I experienced earlier today: when you boot up your 360, don’t ignore the update message that appears on your screen and instead proceed to insert a game. I did this withDiRT 2, and the update froze and wouldn’t let me cancel....

We already told you a bit about Sony’s upcoming PSP Remaster portsfor PS3 in ourMonster Hunter Portable 3rdnews item, but we wanted to pass along a few more details on this series of games. Remasters will be PSP titles customized for PS3, released on Blu ray discs. Expect high-definition graphics, full DualShock 3 control support and even the possibility of 3D visuals. You’ll be able to use your PSP game saves on these ports, and ad hoc play will be supported through the PS3’s ad hoc party feature....

Quick Hit Football, a free-to-play, browser-based football game, has announced New England Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss as the first “starter” for its 2010 season. It remains unclear if the game will include Moss’ “swimming” touchdown dance, as seen above, but at the very least, he’ll show up as an impact “speed” player inQuick Hit. I’m not going to pretend that I know anything about “art folios,” but I guess I’ll be getting one withMetroid: Other M. You see, I’ve already reserved the game at GameStop. And by doing so, it guarantees I’ll be receiving a “collectible art folio featuring 16 individual high-quality cards.” Not sure how big this thing is, as the picture on GameStop.com could be misleading; I can’t tell if they’re the size of business cards or legal paper....
