The survey leak rumors continue to come to fruition, as Activision have officially revealed that Jimi Hendrix (and his music) will appear in the upcomingGuitar Hero World Tour. The title will not only feature the legendary guitar-burning musician as a playable character, but will also feature two master tracks: a live version of “Purple Haze” from a 1969 San Diego Sports Agena concert, and “The Wind Cries Mary.” Other exclusive Hendrix tracks will be available for download after the game’s launch....

When Pandemic closed up shop last year, it was in the middle of developing the third game in its open-worldMercenariesgames for Electronic Arts. The game was calledMercenaries 3: No Limits, andthis video(obtained by Kotaku) will be the only time you’ll get a chance to see it. It’s an early milestone demo for the game, which explains the placeholder voice over work and the rough animatics instead of a cut-scene. The action is admittedly hectic here (as it probably should be), so if you’re not getting the bigger picture, no worries. Destructoid readers, I must say, this is awesome. An eBay user by the name of HelloKitty followed by a ridiculous number of ones is selling these painted NES consoles. They aren’tthatexpensive either with “Buy it Now” price of $125. It isn’t that bad when you take into account that you’re getting a console too. There are seven different consoles and each of is fairly durable due to the fact that they’re painted with acrylics....
