Ghostbusters confirmed for release in June 2009

We’ve been running around slathering drool on everything related to the upcomingGhostbustersgame, despite its move from Activision Blizzard hands to those of Atari. After all, this is one of the most beloved films of all time — it’s understandable that people are hopeful for a good game adaption. Gloves come off in new Fight Night Champion trailer

Bare-knuckle prison boxing?Fight Night Championhas it. Seeing is believing, of course, and this trailer’s got what you need. It also features more story and more drama in the one-minute-and-thirty-second clip than every boxing game that has come before it… all of them combined, that is. There’s profanity, there’s shouting, there’s a gun… clearly,Fight Night Championis not your average boxing game. As a fan of theFight Nightseries over the years, seeing what EA Sports is adding to flesh out the experience truly has me excited....

Gore overload! First look at Soldier of Fortune: Payback

Our first look at the latest from theSoldier of Fortuneseries shows us exactly what you would expect from it. Tons of blood and limbs flying all over the place! From this first video, I’d have to say it’s looking some what good. The graphics look good and the guns look great. To bad the enemy A.I. looks to be completely retarded.I remember the first time I played this series. First thing I did was blow a guy’s arm off with a shotgun....

Hate gaming? PlayStation Home launches a LocoRoco space

Have you ever seen someone playing something so crazy looking that you just had to stop and ask what the hell it was? The new space, probably tied to the upcoming PSP releaseLocoRoco Midnight Carnival’s November, is set on an island where plenty of the little blobs are hanging out. There’s trumpet face guy, beehive house, and a whole bunch of other sh*t that doesn’t make sense, and then there’s you, standing in the middle of all of it, wondering why you’re in Home and not actually playing LocoRoco?...

Heavy Rain’s Scott Shelby had a cameo in a real film

I guarantee that this is the weirdest thing you’ll see today. If you’re familiar withHeavy Rain, you may know that the playable characters in the game were based off of real people — the voice actors for the respective roles. Sam Douglas voiced, and provided the character model for, private investigator Scott Shelby. (Here’swhat Shelby looks like in the game.) What you probably didn’t know until now, though, is that Douglas played a bit part in the 2005 filmDerailed, which featured Clive Owen and Jennifer Aniston....
