The current world record holder for the highest amount of Gamerscore on the Xbox 360 has just hit the 600,000 mark. Raymond Cox, better known by his Xbox LIVE Gamertag as “Stallion83,” is on a mission to reach 1,000,000 Gamerscore. His last milestone, wherehe surpassed 500,000, took place before Christmas of last year; so this has taken him a while. To celebrate the event, Cox has created a video which he says was “inspired by a scene inRocky 2when Adrian tells Rocky to win while laying in a hospital bed....

British entertainment retailer HMV is going toenter the pre-owned marketby accepting trade-in deals for its products. The scheme, known as Re/Play launches this Friday across 160 stores. It will sell all current console games, including PlayStation 2 titles. “HMV Re/Play further underlines HMV’s growing credentials as a games specialist, and enhances the credibility of our games offer through extended range and by providing a strong value proposition to our customers,” states HMV’s head of games Tim Ellis....
