Shin Megami Tensei, Pachinko style? Yep, that’s what you’re seeing. Recently unveiled at a press event in Roppongi, the machine is called Shin Megami Tensei Pachislot and will be made through a partnership between Atlus and Taiyo Elec. Based off ofShin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, the screen shows demon battles while you try your luck on the slots. I’m not much of a gambler, but I have to admit I’d be thrilled to get my hands on this....

Actvision Blizzard has made two announcements this morning, the first of which should surprise no one who has put faith in rumors: Smashing Pumpkins singer and lead guitarist Billy Corgan will appear as an in-game model in the upcomingGuitar Hero: World Tour. We’re shocked, really. It’s also been revealed that the band will be debuting their brand new single “G.L.O.W” as downloadable content after the game is released. Actvision Blizzard are excited about this marking the first time for the franchise that an artist has released a song for the game prior to its commercial release....

Remember theSonic 4leaks we talked about this weekend, where I basically stated that the majority of Sonic fans are f*cking idiots. I’ve gotten pretty used to the fact that videogame ads typically don’t do anything for me as I’ve already seen everything the makers of the game want the public to see writing for Destructoid. ThisDJ Heroad featuring Daft Punk, however, actually wowed me. I just love how the image pans out and you get to see the game on Daft Punk’s helmet. It probably also has something to do with my obsession over all things Daft Punk also....

Borderlands 2is already set to be extremely popular, and following the presentation at gamescom, it is pretty easy to see why.
