Rovio is reportedly talking to the coffee conglomerate about placingAngry Birdsleaderboards in their shops with the hopes of helping build brand loyalty and provide an incentive for playing the game while sipping on coffee.
As if the over250 millionpeople all over the world who have purchased Angry Birds and are completely engrossed in it 24/7 isn’t enough, Rovio’s Wibe Wagemans is hoping the leaderboards will “[tie] in the real world with the virtual world.” It’ll be interesting to see how it all works, considering thatAngry Birdsis pretty much on every platform ever; how will they get scores up on the same leaderboard from all the different platforms?
