I heard rumblings of this awhile back (Kotakueven recently posted it as a related rumor), but it’s true — Midway and Ubisoft have partnered to publish theWheelmanthis March.
The press releasing is calling it a “strategic partnership” which is industry code for “Midway didn’t really have the cash to do it themselves.” Ubisoft’s Tony Key is thrilled about the parternership, saying that “gamers will love” the “intense, fast-paced action” ofWheelman. We also love Vin Diesel’s sexy and sweaty, bald head.
Word has it a demo forWheelmanwill hit before the game’s release, so soon we’ll get a chance to see if Ubisoft made the right choice. If you can’t wait, check outour previewof the game from last year.
