Just likeMinitroidfrom a few days back,Mega Man Vs. Street Fighterhas been around for a while, but somehow I totally missed it. It’s definitely getting better as time goes on. The first work-in-progress video against Ryu is cool, but you’ll see big improvements by the time you get to the second vid, and the stuff in the third video (seen above) conquers all. That boss fight against Dhalsim is the stuff that dreams are made of. I’m particularly impressed with the fact that the bosses have super meters. They even get close ups during their supers, just like inStreet Fighter 4. To quote Guile’s win quote fromStreet Fighter Alpha 3“I’m impressed.”
I’ll be keeping a close eye on Jgonzo’s blog over at Capcom-Unity for more updates on this budding project. I know he wont let me down. He’s awesome like that. Both of the otherMega Man Vs. Street Fightervideos can be seen below.
