Explosive Gasis aBomberman-esque Xbox Live Indie game that does a good job of feeling like the older installments in that series while also throwing in some modern design concepts. We had enough fun playing it on our showSaturday Morning Hangoverthat Conrad featured it inhis recap post.

There were a few things aboutExplosive Gasthat I had missed, and I wanted to mention those here. One of the guys who worked on the game, Mike Keogh, kindly alerted me to the fact that you can get a full eight-person session going offline by putting two players on each controller. It’s just crazy enough to work.

System link is also supported if you have two Xbox 360s and two copies ofExplosive Gas, which is both awesome and sad when you consider how few titles — big-budget multiplayer ones, at that — use the feature. Remember, this is a one-dollar game we’re talking about here.

Lastly, Mike and some of the other people responsible for the game want to play with y’all. They’re shooting for around 8:30 PM EST on Thursdays, if you are up for the challenge.
