TheWorld of WarcraftFaction Change service went live today. Blizzard Entertainmentannouncedthe service’s “live” status and put out atwo-part FAQexplaining the nuances of the switch, but it all boils down to this: for 30 bucks, players can switch an existing Warcraft character’s faction — Horde to Alliance, Alliance to Horde — and transfer over all their items and equipment to a new, but comparable character.
It’s like an MMO sex change operation.
