Your guess is as good as mine. A new European trademark forFinal Fantasy Type-0was found by the keen eyes ofSiliconera. Beyond the title, Square Enix also filed a logo trademark, with Type-0 written in kanji. This is a step beyond the usual simple name trademarking. Maybe something big is coming.
Earlier we told youthat there’s an upcoming Japanese event being thrown by Square Enix, and it’s expected that they’ll announce several titles there. This Square Enix 1st Production Department Premiere is going to show off work by Square Enix’s premiere team, the 1st Production Department. If this Type-0 thing is from them, it’ll be a big deal. The event goes down on January 18th, so stay tuned.
