Does anyone tease as mush as Capcom? Seems like they enjoy talking about the games theythought about makingjust as much as the stuff they actually finish. Take this sample from theSecret File promotional ‘zineforTatsunoko Vs Capcomfor instance. It features official-looking artwork of (headless) Phoenix Wright (maybe byShinkiro?) and what appear to be in-game screenshots of the game featuring Ingrid fromCapcom Fighting Jam. Awesome.
Actually, I could go either way on Ingrid, but Phoenix Wright is something else. The ideas that Capcomhad for his combat style were brilliant. Why are they showing this to us now? Is there a chance that he could end up in the game after all, or is Capcom just looking to frustrate me (again)?
If Phoenix doesn’t make it into this fighter, how about next one? Please Capcom?
