This week, Microsoft’s director of marketing and communications for the Xbox team Molly O’Donnell gave the audience atThe Wall Street Journal‘s D8 conference a live demonstration of Project Natal. Of course, it was caught on video.

Molly walks theTheWall Street Journal‘s Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher through a demonstration of the game’s one-to-one body tracking technology, using an Xbox 360 Avatar as an example. At one point, Mossberg walks into the field of view, and a second Avatar appears on the screen; O’Donnell nicely tells him to get the hell out of the way.

Also shown, once again, was the tech demo “Richochet,” where players smack balls to break an on-screen wall. As O’Donnell mentions, you can use any part of your body — your arms, your legs, or your head, for instance. I can confirm you can also use your crotch; I did this during a demo at Tokyo Game Show late last year, and was shocked to hear I was one of the first to try it.

The video runs for about 11 minutes, but the hot Natal demo action starts around 3 minutes. You can find it after the jump.
