Admittedly, that is going to be one heck of a confusing headline for anyone not acquainted with Terry Cavanagh’s ridiculously fun platformerVVVVVV. I’m perfectly fine with that, though. If you don’t know the wondrous joys of that game, you deserve such treatment.

VVVVwas submitted by Markus Persson to the Java4K 2010 competition. As the name of the contest implies, the concept of flipping gravity was squeezed down into a tiny 4KB game using Java. Unlike most games entered into Java4K,VVVVretains a lot of what makesVVVVVVso great.
