Watching Old Snake puff on a cigarette for five minutes might be cute, but the hard drive space taken by the mandatory installation running in the background isn’t. For those of us who didn’t buy big when the PlayStation 3 hit, disc space is now at a premium. Some studios get this. Naughty Dog is one of those studios.
The box art was a lie.Uncharted 2: Among Thieveswill not require the 1.7 GB installation that the box says it will. Speakingvia Twitter, Naughty Dog co-president Christophe Balestra informed fans that, “Uncharted 2does not require any install.”
Now we’ll just have to imagine what thrilling things we could be doing instead of playingUncharted 2immediately … unless an XMB update hits on the day the game swings onto store shelves.
