Alan Wakecouldn’t manage it last week, but Rockstar is another matter entirely.Red Dead Redemptionhas putFIFAin its place, seizing the top slot of the chart and claiming dominion over all lesser creatures. I heard that game is good. I should probably play it.
Split/Seconddebuts at number five, whilePrince of Persia: The Forgotten Sandscomes in at number nine. Considering Ubisoft put very little marketing into this one and seemed to just rush the title out at the same time as a bunch of other high profile games, it’s surprising that the game even managed to get into the top ten.
Meanwhile,Modnation Racersmakes a debut in the tenth spot, having already released in the UK. Not the strongest of debuts, that’s to be sure, but again it seems that the game suddenly popped out of the bushes, even with the press climbing up the game’s arse. It’s a pretty neat little game though, because it lets you make Cenobites.
