Today Konami has revealed details on two downloadable content packs coming toCastlevania: Lords of Shadow, which are expected to launch in early 2011.
The first is “Reverie,” which has players returning to the castle to help an ex-servant of Queen of the Vampires, Carmilla, Laura. It seems that when (spoiler!) the Queen was slain, an evil was unleashed… it’s your job to take care of that, of course.
“Resurrection” is the second pack, and is said to be the larger of the two add-ons. It will take place immediately after the end of the disc’s narrative, giving “some insight into the dramatic epilogue seen by players upon completion of the game.” Konami adds that it will feature a “final showdown with a very notorious enemy.”
No word on pricing or release timing outside of that “early 2011” I mentioned earlier. Who’s ready to slay some more monsters?
