Up to two friends will get to play through the story mode ofToy Story 3on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii. The story mode will have you go through the high points from the movie and begins like the film with Woody trying to save the orphans on the runaway train.
One of the early missions I was shown on the Wii involved Woody, Buzz and Jessie scaling Andy’s room in order to reach a cell phone so the toys can call Andy to come play with them. Cute, and slightly depressing in a way.Each toy has a particular skill that they need to use to help each other through a room. Woody can use his pull string to cross gaps and Buzz can throw the others to hard to reach spots.
The story mode is a good tie-in to the film, but what you’ll really want to play is the “Toy Box” mode. It offers a ton of room for creativity and you’re able to play it however you’d like. Check back in a bit for a little preview on the mode that will make you feel like a kid again.
