Supermandolini wants me to be poor (yet stylish). That’s the only explanation I can come up with for their Console Wars medal series, which I lost my my mind overback in January. It’s since become one of my most-worn pins, and I can’t begin to count the number of comments people have made about it, especially when I wear it with a military-inspired jacket.
The second in the series is simply called Console Wars Veteran II, and this one displays a Sony Playstation 2 controller amidst stripes of black, gold and blue. It’s the same price as the original (€18.00, about $36 US) and can be ordered through theSupermandolini website. Like real military medals, they of course look even better as a set … damn you, Supermandolini, for making my once embarassing hobby so chic!
