Based purely on screenshots, word of mouth, and my personal preference,Ion Assaultlooks to be the best of the bunch. Disclaimer: a lot of that has to do with me being extremely tired of anything that has to do with zombies outside ofDead Rising(and possiblyLeft 4 Dead 2) in addition to beat-’em’ups as a genre.
There have been plenty of bad shooters to end up on LIVE Arcade, so I could be completely wrong about this, butIon Assault‘s “particles as ammo” system is interesting enough to have me looking in the first place. How aboutThe WarriorsorZombie Apocalypse? Anyone feeling those?
