Funcom’s upcoming MMOThe Secret Worldhas always come across to me as a sort ofVampire: The Masqueradetype of world except for, you know, vampires.
After watching this dev diary, I still don’t really know what to expect from the game. But then again, this is from the guys that gave us the amazingThe Longest Journey, the disappointingDreamfall, and thesoon to be free-to-playAge of Conan. If anything, they are not short of a history with large and creative game worlds. And that monster at the end looks a bit like a proper Cenobite, so that’s a good sign.
Are any of you interested inThe Secret World, or is it just going to beGuild Wars 2orThe Old Republicif you’re not intoWorld of Warcraft? The premise is interesting enough, but I wish this wasn’t an MMO because that means I’ll never play it.
